POSITION: Inside Sales Representative

FUNCTION: Inside Sales, Outside Sales Support, Order Desk, Sales Administration, Quoting.

REPORTS TO: Sales Manager

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for the following:

• Providing consistently high levels of customer service to current as well as prospective clients
• Maintaining accurate customer information and records in the company ERP/CRM database platform
• Maintaining up to date knowledge of products and service offerings by using our pricelists and brochures.
• Provide assistance to our customers, over telephone and email, in product selection and verification of application.
• Supplying and following-up customer quotations, sales orders.
• Supporting outside sales initiative.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a related field.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• Experience with ERP/CRM database tools is a strong asset (in particular, Dynamics, Sage/Simply and Access)
• Strong, communication and telephone sales skills;
• Ability to effectively plan and organize work. Results and service driven;
• Knowledge of Excavator products and components an asset; although not as important as an ability to learn, and friendly disposition towards others.
