LOCATION: Surrey, British Columbia

POSITION: Shipper / Receiver

REPORTS TO:  Operations Manager

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Shipper / Receiver will be responsible for the following:

• Prepare all necessary documentation required for freight movement. Arrange Trucks based on production schedule and obtain freight quotes when required.
• Load and Unload various types of trucks with forklift. Both Palletized and Loose Items large and small.
• Receive of all goods landing on the premises of Accurate. Includes planning and organizing goods that are received.
• Control Traffic and Visitors entering Yard & Manufacturing Facility

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 2 year shipping experience in a Manufacturing or Distribution facility
• Valid Forklift Ticket

SOFT SKILLS:

• Flexible individual with the ability to prioritize a changing workload
• Exceptional ability to listen, communicate and collaborate
• Strong English communication skills (written and oral)
• Excellent Telephone Manners
• Proficient in the use of Excel and Word.
• Able to meet tight deadlines in a fast paced, fun and professional environment
• Ability to work independently and as a team, self-starter and energetic
